PromptPro is a free tool that helps you write better prompts for AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. You pick a tool for your task, fill in a few fields, and it builds a structured prompt on screen. You copy that and paste it into your assistant. PromptPro does not generate the answer itself, it helps you ask a sharper question.
Yes. PromptPro is free while it is in beta. There are no paywalls or premium tiers.
Yes. PromptPro runs in your browser, and the prompt text you type stays on your device. We never receive it. Usage analytics are optional and only run if you accept the cookie banner, and we only store your email if you choose to give it. See the Privacy Notice for detail.
Any of them. The prompt it builds is plain text you can paste into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or another assistant. There is an "Optimised for" selector at the top so you can format the prompt for the tool you actually use.
No. There is no login. Open the site and start building.
Different assistants read prompts slightly differently. When you pick your tool, PromptPro adjusts the structure of the prompt to suit it, for example XML-style tags for Claude with your material first, or clean headings for ChatGPT and Gemini. The content stays the same, the layout is tuned.
Improve this prompt first asks the AI to sharpen your whole prompt before answering. Ask me clarifying questions makes it check in first, and you choose how many (up to 3, 5, 10, or as many as needed). Avoid AI-speak asks for plain, human writing. Don't invent tells it to flag uncertainty rather than guess.
It does the structure for you. Instead of remembering what context to include every time, you pick a tool and fill in the fields that matter, and get a complete, well-organised prompt. It is most useful for the prompts you write again and again.
Yes. Most fields let you add your own choices with "+ Add", and they are saved for next time. Every prompt you copy is also kept in a local History (the last ten), so you can reopen and reuse ones you liked.
No. Your prompt text stays in your browser and is never sent to us, so we cannot and do not use it to train anything. Note that whatever assistant you paste into afterwards has its own data policy, worth checking separately.
The tools are grouped by the job you are doing: prompts for emails, writing, presentations, documents, research, spreadsheets and planning. There is also a "Build your own" builder if you want to start from a blank canvas.
Use the Feedback button in the app. There is a box for the one prompt type you would most like to see, and we read every response. You can also see what we have changed based on feedback so far.
